No,Samsung has not passed Apple in Profitability

I saw a lot of leading publications(Business Insider especially) wrongly stating that Samsung passed Apple in Profitability- Answer is NO Apple reported $6.9bn of net profits and $9.2bn of Operating profits. Samsung meanwhile reported $8.33bn of Operating Profits. Press is comparing Apple's net Income with Samsung's Operating profit - This is misleading as it does not include several other expenses like taxation and Interest/extraordinary expenses. Additionally must remember, Samsung Electronics does much more than mobiles.
