Ask HN: Questions Before Joining a Startup
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=5362776I have a lunch meeting today with a start-up founder I know, to see if there's any possibility of me joining the company. It's a project I believe in, and the company has already seen some traction. However they are still very young, and I would be one of the first non-founding employees. Other than that I don't know much about the company itself, and this will be the first conversation we've had about this.
Can anyone suggest questions I should ask, or things to be aware of to help make sure that this will be a good fit? Are there things I should look out for? Anything else you can think to say?
I'm very interested, but also very nervous about doing this.
Thanks for the help.
