But we also seem to have a couple of Show HN from another of the contributors.. extraheadroom.com which uses this library, but bundles it further:

Hi -

I am the core maintainer of Headroom. Headroom remains OSS and free to use :)

If youre a dev that wants to try it out, use the Github pip install directly.

We are building it for multiple languages, harnesses and models.

Extraheadroom was started by one of the initial users of Headroom to attract a crowd of non devs who would not like to get into pip installs etc. they have attributed Headroom OSS on their webpage - and being OSS, Headroom is in principle available to folks to build on top of it.

Thanks for building headroom - it's quite interesting, useful, and you've made it a joy to use! I've just made the v0.0.1 of an adapter to run headroom as a hook with Tailscale's Aperture Gateway (https://aperture.tailscale.com).

My hook is likewise OSS and available at https://github.com/tailscale/tsheadroom (I am a Tailscale employee).

Thanks again for making it easy to get started with headroom and the great payoff for time-spent-setting-it up, truly A+ work.
