I never send my car to the annual car check, which has saved me an enormous amount of money. I only see a mechanic when there is something wrong with my car or for simple issues such as changing oil.

Oh man, let's hope I am not next to that person's car when their tires get bald and fail. Or when their brakes fail when the pads wear down. And that it's not the problem that their brake or reverse lights don't work anymore.

I am pretty happy my state has mandatory car inspections. I don't care what people do to their bodies, but unmaintained cars are dangerous to everyone.
