Is this how people ended up burning witches?

How on Earth did things get to this state? Luther and the reformation did give rise to challenging authority.

There was a report that some of these measle cases appeared to be due to the physicians mistakenly using the wrong medicine.

However at the root of it seems to be that not enough children are being vaccinated.

Questioning authority is great, but the prior that whatever authority says the opposite must be true, is not.

This is a symbiosis between uneducated people and opportunists. The former can't think for themselves and the latter see an opportunity to make money by leading people a certain way.

Was such report anywhere else then in super anti-vaccine circles fully determined to lie no matter what?

Measles have mortality 1-3 per 1000 in general.

Oh I'd guess it's this disingenuous report [1] judging by its content would seem to confirm authored by a woo woo though they sign with Ph.D. Seems like a mismatch ... oh Ph.D. of communication [2] ...

When the body gets worn down by one or more infections like viruses, secondary diseases usually easily fended off by the body under normal circumstances can quickly rear up, overwhelm and do serious harm. In days before antibiotics were common, around my parts the older generation were told by their mothers to rug up and keep warm outside in the cold or rainy days, less they risk catching cold. The same story for any other potentially lethal virus as well while the body starts to mount a defence.

It's disingenuous in this instance to refer to the secondary illness as the primary cause of death. Some people might say the actual cause was some idealism by the child's parents ...

Only if their scientific minds and governing bodies lied to and gaslit the population repeatedly until all that was left was to come up with their own albeit wrong answers. In this case I put the blame squarely on the NIH and WHO, both of which need some serious reformation.

Oh, and the witches hammer. [1] That book killed millions of women and girls. numbers are often debated
