Excellent theory considered here.

Could be something to it, when there is a genius that arises like they say.

OTOH, whether it's true or not, isn't it more commonly believed to be more like the genius "emits" the new tehnology?

Probably both, but odds are in favor of a non-genius coming up with the technology first anyway.

Then maybe it does emerge strongest when the one person comes along at the right time, possessing the presented 3-element catalyst.

Kind of like a Venn diagram on a linear scale.
