We just released a paper back version of Hypermedia Systems that has been completely redone using typst:

a relatively new typesetting tool, replacing our old asciidoc setup. Deniz did all the work and documented the process of porting over as well as some of the cool things you can to with typst on his blog.

Very good experience and anyone considering self publishing a technical book can take a look at our codebase for inspiration:

You can also clone the repo and build a PDF or EPUB from the command line using the just command

  just build-pdf
