and asked the clerk at Best Buy what was on sale and got a good answer. (Though I thought about it and realized I could spend the same money to develop and market a simple product with a friend and probably be better friends)

As a bargain hunter though I have always found Prime Day is a waste of time with few worthwhile deals. The articles boosting it always come across as insufferable to me as it is the biggest retail non-event of the year.
