All you naughty people driving too fast and running those poor pedestrians over.

This is not about road safety or the protection of pedestrians it is about what comes afterwards once the entire planet has the infrastructure to monitor every car and every person in that car.

Pay per mile will be next on the agenda. Automatic fines for going one mile over the speed limit. Another tax.

Here on Airstrip One we already have "Automatic Number Plate Recognition" (ANPR) so the old fuzz can track you across the country if they think you have committed a crime.

Thing is; that technology is online 24/7 tracking every car that is travelling on the road.

The Fascist state is not far away in my lifetime.
