I believe it just says that cancelling a card doesn't automatically kill recurring payment associated with that card. Sure, recurring charges are something that streamers do, but aren't there other "as a service" sectors that do the same thing, like say your electric or ISP?

Left a decidedly click-baity lingering aftertaste.

Found this out quickly. I thought it would be easier to cancel XM Radio via cancelling the card. It did not work.
