As much as I want to like Tyson, he comes across as much as a hack as Michio.. who is like the Zahi Hawass of physics.

Tyson is the Walmart 'Best Value' brand of physics. Or the media queen...

However!

He is still great - (btw, the black hole/white hole thing is truly funny!)

Its just that I take everything Tyson says with a grain of media-marketing-salt.

Yeah, but to be fair to all those guys they're trying to reach an audience that would almost never spend any time on the subjects they cover if they went too deep into it.

In the description he says "we break down how to foster a love of science in a young person."

Neil is especially good at injecting humor when he delves into complex subjects, and great at debunking bunk without humiliating his audience.

He'd have to be fun to hang out with. I'd love to burn a fatty with Neil and listen to him ramble on about whatever he's excited about.
