Hi HN, presenting Laberinto, a tile map editor tailored for BSicon tiles, widely embraced in railway, metro, and public transportation maps—commonly found on Wikipedia, especially on the German Wikipedia.

Laberinto integrates seamlessly with BSicons, a set of standardized SVG icons initially designed for railway diagrams and now extending to canals, footpaths, and motorways.

Laberinto offers an alternative approach to creating high-quality maps compared to traditional methods on Wikipedia, which involve using templates.

Laberinto enables easy embedding of maps in HTML pages, expanding their utility beyond Wikipedia's platform.

After crafting your map, download a complete HTML page, including icons and CSS, for your own use.

Full Icon Library Access: Access over 300,000 Wikipedia BSicon categories, with Laberinto's current catalog covering approximately 40,000 icons.

Drawing Tool: Sketching continuous lines and curves.

This looks cool! Good work on shipping it!

So I tried to click new map and drag n drop a few shapes from the toolbox into the map, but my mouse did not indicate that the map canvas was a place where I could drop the SVG icons.

So I tried to double click an icon, thinking perhaps I needed to have it be dropped on the map, then I could drag it around. That pinned the icon to the top left, but did not put it on the map.

So. I think this is cool, I played around with it for a bit, I'm too lazy to keep trying it, but the tool appears functional enough, pretty enough, and a great concept not used as much in online tilemap editors, so again, great job shipping!

Thanks! Clicking on any tile on the map will switch the tile to the tile selected.
