Hey HN!

I've always been a fan of GitHub achievements. They add a touch of gamification to our coding lives, and there's something immensely satisfying about seeing a new badge pop up after you've hit a milestone.

However, I've often felt that there's so much more potential here. Why limit ourselves to the achievements GitHub offers? Imagine having achievements for quirky milestones like "Merged a PR on Friday 13th" or "Closed an issue opened 3 years ago". The possibilities are endless!

With this thought, I've started a custom project where everyone can contribute and add new achievements. It's open-source, community-driven, and I genuinely believe it could be a fun and engaging addition to our GitHub experiences.

I'm extending an invitation to all of you. Let's co-create. Whether you have a knack for design and can help with badge designs, or you've got ideas for cool achievements, or even if you just want to code and contribute in any way, I'd love for you to join on board.
