Show HN: A game designed for twitch chat inspired by the infinite monkey theorem

I'm interested in building games with unusual input mechanisms[1]. One game I have wanted to build for a while is a game designed only to be played via twitch chat. Twitch plays pokemon was very cool but involved hooking up an existing game to twitch chat. Plenty of games feature twitch chat integration focused on making the game more streamable - but I haven't seen many where the integration is the entire point.

InfiniteHamlet is my attempt to make a simple game designed solely for twitch. I'm interested in taking this idea much further - potentially by building a game where folks collaboratively write code (or otherwise manipulate game state in a more powerful way). But I'd like to prevent the game from being trivial to deface and so I'm still working through exactly what such a game would look like.

In the meantime I figured I'd finish InfiniteHamlet in order to understand what making a game designed for twitch looks like. I wrote a bit about that process on my blog[2] but at a high level: integrating with twitch chat was relatively easy, but trying to spin up a server to stream from was pretty annoying. If folks have suggestions about how to better handle either front I'd gladly hear them :)
