I'm curious around the discussion of what this means for twitter and social media under Elon's new rule, rather than highlighting the movie itself, which I'd rather watch in the movie theater.

It just means Twitter doesn't handle DMCA requirements very well. The same thing happened with other movies:

If it gets bad enough then Twitter will be liable for it. Twitter will probably get better at it before then.
