How do you curate the news you take in? I’ve been using google news for a while and it’s just a bunch of stories about weird ways people died.

I’d like stories which are prioritized by… - key local events near me - very important global events - economic and tech - sports

I realize other people’s priorities are different. The biggest issue I have is random stories about tragedies which are so remote as to have no bearing on my life.
