Did you know that when you hold Ctrl and left-mouse key pressed, you get a drop down menu?!

Yep! Works for the middle and right mouse buttons, too.

I used it recently to change the font size to ‘Unreadable’ and it indeed was, unreadable. Wonder why that options exists.

To search very long texts by the "text shape". Same idea as some popular editors show on the right, next to the scrollbar:

The menus in Smalltalk systems are accessed in the same manner.

Yes, I used that feature. You can also display different menus by Ctrl with the other mouse buttons.
