Ask HN: Are you seeing verified impersonations on Twitter today?

Friends of mine are reporting an enormous number of fake accounts with verification on Twitter today after Elon tier verification to the price of a sandwich. They're saying it's unusable because nothing can be trusted. Is anyone else seeing unverifiable tweets?
