Yikes, what a terrible title. There's nothing listed here that offers any defence against a javalin-class anti-tank missle. I think it will roll out with anti-missile missiles, but these aren't even mentioned.

It's true that it should do well vs Russian not-so-smart weapons especially if they aren't making their final approach from above; but American-quality attacks would smoke it. Even en masse it's not unstoppable since concentrating anti-tank missiles is easier than concentrating a mass of tanks for a breakthrough in the first place.

It hasn't even started development or testing yet, calling it unstoppable is a little premature.

So long as all the right congressional palms are greased, it will be unstoppable. At least from a taxpayer's point of view...

Yup. I believe this is called "Front-Loading".

Hype the new tech, make an absurdly estimates on cost and time, and ensure as many congressional districts have sub-contracts as possible.

Preferably start production before testing is completed, so there will be more $$ to refit the old models.

And I'd bet an extremely $hiny new price tag...a detail which the article completely ignores.

But what % of those cool shiny new military toys which have been hyped since Eisenhower's farewell address have actually lived up to their billing? IANADA (...Defense Analyst), but I'm thinking ~0.1%
