Ask HN: How do/did you migrate WhatsApp chats from Android to iOS?

I just broke my Android phone and wanted to migrate everything to my iPhone. There's plenty of shady softwares listed on Google claiming to be able to do it, but would like to know if there's any open source tools I'm missing.

I'm on Mac OS.
