And if so, why is this allowed?

A lot of people seem to like it, looking at Twitter? Some say it has a cinnamon flavor, some detect hints of Oreo cookie, some say animal crackers...taste sensations can be really subjective.

well, what does starlight taste like?

I'm waiting for Jolt to come out with "Battery Acid" which contains actual amphetamines and LSD. "gives you energy and ideas for using it!"

Isn't a new Coke flavor supposed to taste somewhat like Coke? It doesn't.

I think Diet Coke is close to perfection while Coke Zero is just bad.
