Ask HN: What was that research paper about choosing which task to work on first?
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=30780494The question was how to choose what task to work on first (either as a person or for a computer). I think it may have come from Stanford, not sure.
It went through various strategies and landed on the counter-instinctive strategy to do the most uncertain task first.
I found the paper quite interesting and insightful, but I can't find it... anyone know which paper I'm talking about?
