A working group in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland has proposed a series of steps to "decolonize" the Informatics curriculum

I was not aware that computer science was developed by some other group, then colonized and taken over by Western countries. If so, I absolutely agree - the terms and names used in CS education should be reverted to accurately reflect the peoples that discovered them!
