Ask HN: Why is my typing speed faster on higher frame rate monitor?

Just got a monitor that's ips 240hz. Turned on gsync and it felt very smooth, was trying out different things i do to see how does it feel. one of them is typing test, my errors are almost gone and typing speed went from 80 to 89 wpm.
