Juries can be stupid and/or biased. There is no double jeopardy. She needs to be acquitted only once.

Citing the syndrome known as intimate partner abuse, the lawyers claim: “Mr Balwani was controlling with Ms Holmes, that Ms Holmes was isolated by Mr Balwani, that Mr Balwani was combative with Ms Holmes, and that Mr Balwani was often physically present in Ms Holmes’ office, all tactics that … are abuse tactics used by abusers.”

First off, I want to say that I am sorry to any survivors of abuse that have to see this.

Being "physically present in the CEO's office when you're the president is considered abusive now?

Balwani was 20years older

They started when she was just 18

It lasted 10 years

She had depression issues and slept 18hr days Balwani said he had to restrict her sleep, fighting,throwing things accusations.

how did someone like this end up with so much power?

If she was really sleeping 18 hours a day on regular basis then Balwani was doing her a favor waking her up.

The elephant in the room: I have a fear because she is white, female, young and manipulative she will get a much less harsh sentence.

I hope the jury sees past that and brings justice where justice is deserved, and sets a precedent for anyone in the future looking to emulate Holmes.

I think many people saw this coming, but she would place all the blame on him, and claim she was just an innocent young woman who was taken advantage of.
