Ask HN: Best locked-down C++ subset?

Every time there is a thread on HN on C++, people say you can restrict yourself to a subset of C++ and have a good experience. What are some good restricted subsets of C++ that exist? I’m looking for something opinionated as opposed to clang-tidy with its near-infinite customizability.
