Ask HN: Crime Data for India

Is there an openly available service which gives daily crime statistics in India at least at state level? I would prefer direct from official source. I am interested in creating a crime map specifically for crime against woman. The recent events in Uttar Pradesh have shook me to the core, specifically the denials by the administration. I think presenting the data in an easily consumable manner would at least bring these crimes in focus.
