Ask HN: Does FB and Microsoft Share Account Lockout Data/IPs?

After never being locked out of the services of either company, I got locked out of a duplicate Facebook account. Tonight I attempted to reset thet password of a recently created Microsoft account password and got locked out. Coincidence, or data sharing?
