Article Audio Reader

My mom is legally blind and would like to be able to listen to articles from sources like NYT. The only news source I've been able to find that has a feature like this built into their app is The Economist, and this is only for articles in their weekly edition. Is there another solution or publisher that I'm not aware of? Unfortunately, it needs to be on her phone so a Chrome extension wouldn't work.
