Medpedia.com Domain Compromised

Just a heads up to the HN community who works in medicine or healthcare. It seems the medpedia.com domain is being spoofed or has been hijacked. I recently discovered an insecure link in a medical application redirecting users to install malware / adware.

Medpedia closed in 2013[1] and it looks like the domain has been parked since last year. Since it was attempting to be an authoritative source it may have been linked to in trusted settings.
