Ask HN: How to remove adware from browser?

Browser randomly gets redirected to the http://go.deliverymodo.com/afu.php?id=790166 site and subsequently an ad pops up.Did some google search and tried the free version of Malware Bytes and Hitman Pro to solve the issue but couldn't get rid of the malware.
