Ask HN: Best way to host a photography portfolio?

I'm starting a portfolio and can either use something like Squarespace or make my own site and host with S3, Firebase, Azure, etc. I'm not familiar with any of these, and I don't know if I should spend time configuring my site when I could just buy one with Squarespace. No point doing it on S3 if I spend a lot of time, because I could just use a template and pay for the yearly cost, saving time in the process.

Not sure how to manage files and consider bandwidth or estimate cost. I would have a very simple site that people can view past galleries and choose which ones they want to buy.

I want an encrypted site, so Wix is out of the question, and it sounds like Google Cloud storage doesn't have HTTPS certificate management, but Firebase does.

Between the different hosting providers and cloud services, I have no idea which to go with. I don't anticipate high traffic. Thanks for any help!
