Ask HN: Content marketers of HN, what % converts from downloading Whitepapers?

Seeing this trend more and more as a logical extension of inbound marketing - so out of a 100 people who download your whitepaper, how many actually convert? And has anyone done a cost benefit analysis of whether it is worth it?
